Peeping Tham-masat: Dude lurking and taking video of other dudes in university toilets

Something dirty has been happening in Thammasat University’s men’s bathroom — but it can’t be cleaned up with a mop.

Apparently, a peeping tom was caught earlier this month creeping over stall dividers feverishly trying to catch a glimpse at other men going to the toilet at the university’s Tha Prachan campus.

Daily News reported that the guy, only identified as “man in black,” may have even been taking videos. He was spotted on Oct. 19 by one bathroom user and a fight broke out between the two men. One toilet got completely destroyed in the battle.

The story was featured in local media yesterday after a photo of the wrecked toilet was shared online by some hapless man who wandered into the toilet since the fight between the pee-er and the peeper

The man in black was arrested by Chana Songkram officers. He was deemed responsible for the THB6,000 worth of damage to the bathroom. It’s unknown if he has been charged with voyeurism as well. His phone was taken and examined as evidence and it is suspected that the police found toilet videos.

Since the incident, the university has closed the now-infamous toilets.
