A foreigner in Pattaya ignored his Thai girlfriend’s pleas and lots of weird looks as he continued to dine on outdoor moo ka ta in the middle of a monsoon downpour on Saturday.
This video of a meat-loving foreigner, whose name and nationality were not mentioned, went viral over the weekend, becoming yet another Pattaya WTF moment.
According to the restaurant’s owner Thanasek Naksomboon, the foreigner came to his barbecue place in Soi Lablae with a Thai girlfriend. As a downpour started, everyone ran under the awnings for cover except the hungry farang.
Thanasek said his Thai girlfriend tried to talk him out of eating, but the dude just kept going, so the restaurant’s owner handed him an umbrella and another set of free meat because he was impressed by the man’s ambition.
The foreigner reportedly commented that the meat was “so delicious” before leaving the restaurant with his Thai girlfriend.
