A solitary armed criminal shot his gun into the air three times in Suphanburi province yesterday to scare workers of Krung Thai Bank that were loading cash into an ATM in front of a 7-Eleven.
The robber reportedly pulled up from the bank workers on a ladies’ motorbike about five meters from where they were working. He fired his gun three times to scare them before approaching and taking THB 5.13 million.

Things seemed to be going well for the robber; he collected over THB5 million from the three terrified bank staffers — but he made the crucial mistake of dropping his phone while he made his getaway.
For this reason, police expect that they’ll be able to track him down quickly.
The crime happened on the road that leads to Wat Phai Rong Wua temple in the Song Phee Nong district, reported Thairath.
