A hip new night market is scheduled to open in the middle of downtown Bangkok on Dec. 1.
“Talad Neon – Downtown Night Market,” owned by the same people that own Platinum Mall, will open their new outdoor, nighttime venture in Pratunam. To be more precise, the market will be on Petchaburi Road between Soi 25 and 27.
“Shops” will take the form of traditional market tents, food trucks and shipping container shops, similar to what Artbox market uses. There will be shopping as well as restaurants, cafes, coffee stalls and drinking spots.
Talad Neon will have 900 stalls on 10-rai of land and enough parking to accommodate 200 cars.
