LGBT magazine Prism has made headlines on local blogs and newspapers for their first anniversary issue featuring seven trans men on the cover — rare exposure for the community in Thai media.
The issue “Gentle Trans Men” aims to create understanding and expose readers to the world of trans men, a community often mixed up with toms, queer women who identify as male and have a masculine identity; the label of which is unique to Thailand.
You can download this issue of Prism for free on iOS and Android. The magazine is bilingual, but the English-language version of the trans men issue has not been released yet.
