In this two-minute clip, a tourist gets all suited up with gloves, a helmet and a fancy bike on Tuesday. He planned to get his friend to film him biking on a sacred temple in Chiang Mai.
Now, this is offensive to all Buddhists and most Thais as it is not respectful of their religion, culture nor the rules of the temple.
However, once the unfit farang starts riding, this act also becomes offensive to athletes since he can’t ride at all. He simply does a wide loop around the edge of the temple before performing a disappointing little plop off the temple wall.
Really bro, that’s it? You didn’t even rail that corner.
