Kung Fu Karma: Jackie Chan gives 2.4 million baht to victims of flood

Kung-fu star Jackie Chan gave THB2.4 million to help victims of the flood in the south as a way of saying “thank you” to the Thai people for the kindness they showed him when he was young and living in Bangkok’s Chinatown.

Chan, who now lives in Hong Kong, came to Bangkok Sunday as part of the promotional tour for his new movie, Kung Fu Yoga. After his promotional work was done, he took part in the “Tad Chuey Tai” event that was raising money for the flood victims, reported Thai PBS.

At the event, he expressed how happy he was to help out and complimented the people that had made donations. “Because of you, our world is beautiful,” he said.

At the event, he also sang “Because I love you, I love Thailand, I love you forever,” which drove him fans absolutely wild with happiness.

Good show, Jackie!
