Following in the wake of news (reported by the Nation) that Thailand’s roads are the sixth-most dangerous on the planet, Thai authorities have decided to mull the possibility of a ban on alcohol during the upcoming, Songkran holiday.
Today, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Committee will meet to decide whether or not a ban on alcohol sales during Songkran is feasible, and in Thai citizens’ best interests.
