A Cambodian laborer in Chonburi was stabbed in the head by his wife and nearly had his penis cut off for speaking with his gik on the phone.
35-year-old “Lek” was drinking with his friends after work when his gik (mistress) called on July 15. Lek took the call and walked away from the group without acknowledging his wife who was standing nearby. The enraged wife then took a knife and attacked him, stabbing him in the head and trying to cut off his penis before being restrained by his friends.
Lek was taken to the hospital with serious wounds to his head and left eyebrow. Police are searching for his wife.
