Yesterday, Crime Suppression police announced the arrest of a 24-year-old transgendered man who was accused of drugging tourists with sleeping pills and robbing them.
Nattaphong Sornthi was nabbed at the parking lot of MeStyle Place on Ratchadapisek Road. Police discovered several stolen items in his possession.
Nattaphong confessed to having stolen the goods, saying that most victims were foreigners whom she met at famous clubs in areas of Thonglor, Sukhumvit and Ratchadapisek. Nattaphong said that he would lure his victims to hotels before conducting his crimes.
Dailynews wrote that Nattaphong would be handed over to the Lumpini police station for further interrogation.
