Bangkok police staked out at a bus station recently to try and catch the intended recipient of a massive amount of “ice” crystal methamphetamine left in unattended bags.
No one showed up to pick up the drugs though, so police confiscated the 73 kgs of ice that had been left in six bags at the southern bus terminal on Borom Ratchonnanee Road.
Metropolitan Police chief Pol Lt Gen Winai Thongsong told a press conference today Jan. 4 that the bags were discovered at 7pm and police waited for a suspect until 10:30pm, the Nation reported.
The ice would be worth roughly THB220 million on the streets, Winai said.
