Huay Kwang police raided the High Class Entertainment Complex massage parlor in the Din Deang area yesterday and found 16 illegal immigrant women from Laos and Burma.
One of them was under 18 years old, the rest were between the ages of 20 and 25.
Police found that the “entertainment complex” on Soi Pracharat Bamphen 4 was certified for “traditional massage” but that women their were performing “modern massage,” Daily News reported. High Class was not certified to perform “modern massage” police found, so they arrested the 57-year-old owner.
As part of joining the Asean Economic Community (AEC), police said they are checking 200 similar venues for zoning violations in a three month initiative.
