Spurned lover sets former girlfriend on fire

A spurned ex-boyfriend set his former lover on fire with oil on Monday after seeing she was dating another man.

Police received a report that a woman had been attacked and set on fire in Bangkok’s Lat Krabang district.

The 20-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition with burns on 60% of her body.

According to a friend of the victim, the 19-year-old ex-boyfriend had threatened her the night before when he found out she was seeing a new man, the Bangkok Post reported.
