US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta is in Bangkok today to meet with the Thai Defense Ministry.
Secretary Panetta will discuss military cooperation between the US and Thailand with Thai Defense Minister Sukampol Suwannathat this afternoon.
The two defense ministers will then hold a joint press conference at the Surasak Room of the Ministry of Defense.
Panetta is one of many US heavy hitters visiting Thailand this week. President Obama is coming to Bangkok on Sunday along with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
