Coconuts Bangkok and UNESCO Bangkok announce content collaboration

Coconuts Bangkok is pleased to announce a content collaboration with UNESCO’s Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education, a move that aims to raise awareness of humanitarian issues in Southeast Asia and share fascinating stories with our readers.

UNESCO’s Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education works to promote peace and human development through education, sciences, culture, communication and information in the six Mekong countries including Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Singapore.

Coconuts Bangkok is the original site of the Coconuts Media Network, which now includes a Thai-language version as well as city sites in Bali, Jakarta,  Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Singapore, and Yangon.

Coconuts has become one of the region’s most popular online platforms, with a total reach of up to 14.6 million people monthly – 1.1 million from the Bangkok platform alone.

Coconuts Bangkok will be publishing content from UNESCO Bangkok, which seeks to underscore the connection between the organization’s work and points of advocacy and the lives of those they serve in Asia-Pacific.

In addition to sharing UNESCO-created content, Coconuts is also looking forward to partnering with the organization’s to create original stories and multimedia content.
