Forget studying, just Post-it on Instagram

If there was an award for the nation with the most creative Instagram photos, Thailand would blow other countries out of the water, seriously.

First, they decorated their selfies with those vintage, funny-phrase stickers we commonly see on the backs of trucks. Recently, they transformed themselves into cartoon characters with that Chinese app. And now someone has decided it’s a good idea to take a photo with vocabulary Post-it notes.

The trend was a part of the “EZ English” campaign by Make the Difference Society which encourages Thais to learn English by putting a Post-it note on things, snap a cool photo, and share it on Instagram.

The hashtag #EZEnglish has been quickly adopted by hundreds of Thais including celebrities and Internet idols such as Gyp Pokchat,  Ying Yae, and Jew VRZO.

However, most words that are being shared are way too fabulous and kindergarten-level. Maybe we would have to wait until the trend becomes bigger and someone will finally drop big words like opinionated, sarcastic, and coconuts.
