Once again, the human companion of Thailand’s top American cat “Junior,” one Ambassador Kristie Kenney, led her staff in the U.S. Embassy’s yearly “Happy Songkran” video.
This doesn’t mean it’s easier for locals to get a visa, though, or its Thai staff will afford anything resembling human respect to their own countrymen. But they will get soaked by water in slow motion.
To wish Thailand a happy new year, the ambassador once again lip-syncs and dances, this time to Sook Gun Ter Rao, a popular song from the 1940’s by Sunthraporn.
We have nothing much to say about the video except “cute,” and all friends are welcome in our party.
