Let’s start this by saying: We have no idea why Sek Loso ever got a “Grateful Child” award.
That said, an accolade recently given to the rocker for being a dutiful mama’s boy may be taken away by the National Council on Social Welfare due to his recent domestic violence scandal.
An online activist group called “Online Community to Serve the Country” said it will petition the organization Thursday to revoke the 40-year-old’s “Grateful Child” award received last month on Mother’s Day, as they feel he’s unworthy of it.
The honor is meant to recognize those who “assist their mother’s daily tasks, obey their mother, uphold morals and virtues, benefit the society and behave in a way that the society accepts,” according to the organization’s criteria.
This year 97 people from different professions including celebrities like Sek Loso and top lakorn actor Jirayu “James” Tangsrisuk received them.
An anonymous officer told Daily News today the council has acknowledged Sek’s behavior, and the board is considering revoking his award.
Never far from tabloid headlines, Sek Loso most recently sparked controversy by getting into an online dispute with Thaitanium and allegedly sending a “private” photo of his “little brother” to his wife’s sister, according to his wife.
Basically, Sek’s just being typical Sek
But hey, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t love his mom.
