LPG goes up a half baht per kg

Consumers are paying a little more for LPG this week after a government subsidy was further relaxed.

Downward pressure on cost combined with a policy to relax subsidies led energy officials to approve an increase of 50 satang per kilogram last week.

The subsidy fell to THB1.3 from 1.75, according to the Energy Policy Administration Committee.

For consumers, that means a per-kilogram price increase to THB22.63 from 23.13, according to Thai PBS.
