Suphanburi FC signs Thai-Welsh defender Mika Chunuonsee

Suphanburi FC have signed a new hot defender Mika Chunuonsee to replace Keng Adisorn who has injured his knee.

With Chappuis and Mika in the same team, Suphanburi FC will probably draw in quite a large female audience who have never watched a football match in their life.

The 25-year-old Thai-Welsh player definitely has the requirements to be the next national heartthrob, following Charyl Chappuis, the Thai-Swiss midfielder who represented Thailand in the AFF Suzuki Cup last month.

While Mika mainly gets attention from the Thai media for his abs and mirror selfies, he actually played for Wales in a national  UEFA Under 17 Elite Tournament in 2006.  Other players involved in that squad were senior Welsh Internationals Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Chris Gunter.

Mika’s first game for Suphanburi FC will be in the 43rd King Cup, which will be held in February.

PS. He already has a girlfriend, just like Chappuis, but that never stopped you before.
