‘We Will Follow In The King’s Footsteps’ T-shirts to inspire everyday good deeds

Presented by

T-shirts have long been used as more than a simple clothing item. Nowadays T-shirts are a place to show off your sense of humor, make a statement, or pledge your allegiance.

Thai Life Insurance is harnessing the simple power of T-shirts with their “Follow the Father” special edition prints – on sale in special pop up events from now until the end of August –  to celebrate His Majesty The King’s 88th birthday.

The idea is to convince all Thais to follow in the footsteps of His Majesty and improve their deeds and way of living.

To get the message across, Thai Life Insurance has made a beautiful video in honour of his Majesty the King. The short clip shows a designer striving to make the perfect T-shirt to show his love for His Majesty by looking deeper into what it actually means to love the King. The clip shows the noble endeavours of His Majesty juxtaposed by the bad habits of normal people.

This deep introspective look at Thai life leads the designer to decide that in order for people to lead a more fulfilling existence they must strive to follow in the King’s footsteps. The designer fashions a t-shirt with “We Will Follow In The King’s Footsteps” printed on it to show Thais that by following the examples of His Majesty they can reach their goals, and treat their fellow Thais with the respect they deserve.

The message is simple: The King has led by example and now it is up to us to take heed of what he has done and follow him to lead better lives.

Thai Life Insurance also hopes people will share this message by using the #followthefather on social media.

The T-shirts are on sale now for THB200 at these locations until August.
