Road rage cabbie gets license yanked for damaging foreigner’s car and trying to run him over

The taxi driver that gained notorious fame last week, after a video of him jumping on a farang’s car and trying to run him over went viral, has gotten some bad news. His license has been revoked for three months.

The driver, identified as Komsan Saejao, was filmed by a bystander kicking and jumping on a foreigner’s car following a reportedly simple argument about who got to go first through an intersection.

In the clip, Komsan, who is carrying his kid, kicks the front of the foreigner’s car making dent. He later jumps straight onto the hood of the foreigner’s white car like he’s Tony Jaa.

The foreigner calmly steps out of the car to take a photo of the taxi’s license plate. Komsan then tries to run him over as he escapes.

The video ends with a witness saying that he’d call the police.

Komsan was identified by his taxi license plate in photos and he was summoned to the Department of Land Transport office on Friday. He lost his driving license for three months, and the punishment was effective immediately, according to Khaosod English.

Komsan’s bosses were fined THB1,000 for not providing his details to officials.
