Meet Parman: Soi dog with funny face, big heart seeks home

Go ahead and be scared the first time you look. Now look again and see past this handsome boy’s damaged face to the sweet soul beneath.

Parman may be missing half his face, but he’s healthy and in no pain whatsoever. Now he’s looking for his forever-home to share his friendship with. Still put off by his scarred appearance? Let’s say he’s still probably in better shape than the sickly puppy-mill animals sold at JJ.

“I’m very playful; I get giddy when I see the volunteers who come to walk me. I bark at them with excitement. I love my daily walks,” his human companion helped him write on Facebook.

A year and a half ago, Parman arrived at Soi Dog Foundation’s shelter with a facial wound he suffered from a serious injury living on the mean streets of Phuket.

With no one took care for the 5-year-old pooch, the wound became horribly infected.

The volunteers at Soi Dog sponsored a laser treatment for him in Bangkok to help his skin grow back. It worked. Now he’s just a healthy and happy dog who enjoys his daily walk.

While Soi Dog may make a good home for Parman, he needs a loving family who doesn’t judge how he looks.

Adopt or sponsor a Soi Dog today by visit their website or email deb@soidog.org to find out more about Parman and his friends.
