Who’s cutting onions? AIS Songkran commercial aims to make you cry

Let’s get emotional, everybody!

Hot on the heels of the viral success of True’s “Giving” and Thai Life Insurance’s “Unsung Hero” commercials, Thai telecom company AIS has now released a Songkran-themed piece of emotional advertising.

In the nearly four-minute commercial titled “ Sweet home is better” a young protagonist surprises his momma for the Thai New Year holiday.

Give it a watch here, but if you weep easily please have a box of tissues on hand.
