A sexy Taiwanese model has apologized for upsetting some Thais by unknowingly flaunting her breasts in a T-shirt which contained a royalist message.
Ma Yourong, who obviously obtained the popular t-shirt while she was in Thailand, posted a message on her Facebook after a photo of her wearing the shirt upset a number of Thai netizens.
The shirt’s front features a number nine which refers to the Thai king, who is the ninth of his dynasty, while the back reads: “We are people of the king,” in Thai.
Ma Yourong wrote in Chinese that she was not aware that shirt is associated with Thai royalty, as she thought nine was a lucky number. Which, of course, it also is.
The model added she feels sorry for sparking a debate, and she did not mean to be disrespectful.
Ma Yourong removed the controversial photos from her Facebook, but it’s OK, you can still see the video here.
