First he vowed to surrender to police if he didn’t bring the government down on Dec. 9. A few weeks later, he called for a final “siege” of the capital that went on for nearly two months before it was given up. Now the man whose previous “final” pushes have failed announced last night a new final push to topple the government of Yingluck Shinawatra.
In his evening comments to supporters, Suthep Thaugsuban delivered what he said is his ultimate ultimatum and called for people to join the biggest-ever rally sometime in the next few days for “the final push” to overthrow the government.
He didn’t specify a date, Thai PBS reported.
